Membership in the Coalition

Any person living in the represented communities of the Coalition determined by the community committees as well as a person with an expressed interest in the target population of the Coalition and who subscribes to the objectives of the Coalition is qualified.

Categories of Membership

Board Members
Any two appointed members of good standing who are presently representing a Community Committee may cast a vote at the Annual General Meeting or any general meeting of the Coalition when an election or a vote is held regarding an issue of importance to the general membership.

General Members
Any person presently residing in the represented communities of the Coalition agencies is qualified to become a general member of the Coalition. A general member cannot vote at the Annual General Meeting unless invited to by the Coalition; however, they can vote on issues that arise during meetings of the Community Committee to ensure that their opinion is heard and represented at the Board Level.

Associate Members
Any person who has an expressed interest in the target population of the Coalition and who subscribes to the objectives of the Coalition is qualified to become an associate member. An associate member cannot vote at an Annual General Meeting unless invited to by the Coalition.
