In each of our member communities, there is a community-level steering committee which determines program direction in each site. This committee is made up of program consumers, Brighter Futures staff, resource people and, where applicable, the site manager. Parents from our member communities, along with invited resource people, make up the Brighter Futures Board of Directors. The resource representatives come from specific backgrounds such as Early Childhood, Community Development, Health, etc.
The community representatives are responsible for bringing information back to each community committee.
Twice-annual Planning Days for all stakeholders provide feedback and input into the planning process for programs and services.
